BENV1010 ASSESSMENT 3: Developing Your Style  Gabriella Melhem_z5317322 100-WORD STATEMENT: Interior architecture plays a role in the aesthetics of design. My project is titled 'Timeless Aesthetics’ and examines the way in which contemporary and traditional aesthetics work individually and in composition with one another. The interior design industry is continuously evolving with new modern aesthetics to which I believe paired with traditional and more so grand aesthetics, could potentially create an appealing design. This is supported particularly through Model 5. The gold wall paper, pendants, thick curtains and overall colour scheme was inspired by traditional, classical design. In comparison, the black and white wall art, sleek side tables, large windows, high ceilings and bathroom and wardrobe joinery are considered contemporary.                           BENV1010 BLOG                             18/02/2020 These drawing activities were very useful. They allowed me to gain insight into the varying pencil and pen weights. I am now aware of where and when certain pens and pencils should be put to use and their purpose.
